Frequently asked

We answer

For anything else, call.

Can we book?

No. Come by, leave a name at the counter, get a drink: we’ll call you as soon as a table frees up. Eight or more, call ahead and we’ll work something out.

How long is the wait?

Friday and Saturday evening, twenty to forty minutes. Midweek, often nothing at all. The oven bakes one pizza at a time — that is what makes the queue.

Why is the card so short?

Eight pizzas is what a wood oven can do properly in one service. A card of twenty-five would mean dough prepared in advance and a cooler oven.

Do you deliver?

No, and it is not an oversight. A Neapolitan loses its base in about seven minutes in a box. Takeaway yes, ten minutes at the counter; delivery no, and no platform.

Do you do gluten-free?

No. We don’t know how to make this dough without gluten, and we would rather say so plainly than sell something we haven’t mastered.

Is it good for children?

Very. It is loud, it is quick, and a margherita cut into six works at any age. High chairs at the counter — just ask.

Are there vegetarian pizzas?

The Marinara (no cheese), the Patate e Rosmarino, the Ortolana, and Rocket & Pecorino among the small things. The rest carry cured meat or anchovy.

What payment do you take?

Cards and cash. No cheques.

How do I get there?

12 rue des Tuiliers, 69999 Val-Ferrand. Tram T4, Tuiliers stop, two minutes on foot.
